Dudleys Play the Peanut Butter Game

We got our lick mats for the Dudley twins this week. We've been giving them an ice cream cup in the evenings, but with the mats, it keeps them busy longer and it helps relax them. A relaxed Dudley isn't chewing on everything in sight.

Cupcake bought them a jug of dog peanut butter to go along with the mat, because somebody spoils the mutts.
Pop found us a bushel of fresh picked peaches this week. Saturday morning after breakfast we put them in jars.

We canned twenty quarts of peaches, some in pint jars for Pop. Then we took the leftover peaches and made three cookings of jelly.

One dozen jars of peach jelly in the new cabinet. The Boy has discovered homemade jelly tastes way better than store bought, so we go through some jelly now.
The food part of our update this week starts with a homemade pizza.

And Cupcake broke out a hidden secret recipe for patty melts. This is a new addition to our rotation.

Funny story, while Cupcake was making the patty melt she announced she would be making homemade potato chips. We sliced the potatoes with the food processor, then she handed them to Lawman to fry. When asked about her making the chips, she said "I can see where you'd think I was going to fry them."
And while she was making the chips, Lawman whipped up her favorite. Fried green tomatoes.
The Girl even got in on the act one night and made a batch of muffins.

We ended the week with wings and a very long nap.
