Working on Night Moves

We've had some more activity around The Acre at night. Some welcome, some not.

This big guy has been fooling around the house all week. So far he's just snooped around and not hurt anything, the neighbors haven't been so lucky. Season opens Oct 1.

The not so welcome part showed up about three days after the last foxxy kill. We're beginning to think these things are a 'Hydra', you kill one and two take it's place.

This one is a gray, they're not as aggressive as reds. We haven't lost any birds to it yet, but he's coming around on the regular so it's just a matter of time before we do. Lawman says it's personal now.
Coyote lure brings in the deer too, apparently?
We're really looking forward to Oct.1.
On the thread of prepping food, we started our tomato harvest this week. Lawman made a big ol pot of tomato soup with our first picking.
He threw in some fresh from the garden onions, kale, carrots and a little store bought celery, then cooked down the tomatoes.
We managed forty pints of soup. Lawman puts it in pints so Cupcake can have a quick lunch when she's working. Keeping him in the lifestyle he's grown accustomed to.
More food stuff, Lawman made a meat lovers pizza for dinner one night.

And Cupcake wanted an apple pie, so Cupcake got a homemade apple pie.

We ended the week with a couple of naps, and wings.
