Easter Fools

The last day of this past week was both Easter and April Fools. Lawman had the perfect joke to play on Denises and Denephew, but it was foiled before he could get the kids outside to look for eggs we didn't hide.
As we prepared the food for the family gathering, we reminded ourselves to take pictures as we went because we've had several big family meals where we forgot to document. We forgot to document again.

Cupcake making her famous corn pudding. It's a huge hit with everybody

We used the pizza pan for biscuits this time. Everything tastes better on cast iron

Lawman sliced the ham, then we took the bone and added some celery, carrots, onion and bay leaves to boil it down into bone broth.

This past week was also the end of the month for Cupcake. She had to work twelve hours Firday, so we stayed home and made a soon to be world famous pizza for dinner.

And Lawman made a trip to town mid week for last minute cooking items, and had an impulse for a quick lunch.

We will try to do better next week.
