That Time of Year

It's getting to be that time of year again. The leaves are starting to change and the smoker meat is starting to mingle with the birds in the front yard. Lawman is tuning up the Matthews bow to prepare.
Our persimmon fruit has a slight yellow hue to it, wont be long until we can make our Christmas jelly.
We have been lucky enough to sleep with the windows open a few nights this week. The Dudley Twins like that, because they have easy access to the bedroom.
When they're not snooping through the windows, they keep under foot pretty regular.
We drove up to the bait shop again this week and picked up another five dozen minnows. The DT supervised their release.

Then Willow went looking for them. She saw them go in, they must be around here somewhere?
We have been living like campers the past week when the fridge went out. Our new fridge arrived Saturday, so we're right back on the rails again.
Funny story. We had just bought large ice cube trays to ice down our mint water when the old fridge went out, so we had to wait another week to use them.

For food this week, we celebrated cold food with baked sketti.
Sunday morning we made fresh sliced hashbrowns and onions in the food processor.
And as always, we ended the week with wings. And a nap.
