Boo Who?

All Hallow's Eve was this weekend, and to celebrate we had a bunch of trees fall in the family cemetery. After family breakfast Saturday, Cupcake and Lawman went up with chain saw in tow and cleaned the mess up. But, we found this oddity while we were up there. Lawman has caretook at the cemetery for over twelve years and has never noticed this before, so we're not sure if it's new or just new to us?

We took the Dudley Twins with us, and Willow got in to the spirit. Every stick we threw across the fence, she would shimmy under the fence and fetch it back.

Augustus was in more of a supervisor role.
Other DT related news, they got a spooky treat box from Chewy for Halloween.

Augustus kept his bandana on all day, Willow had hers off and hidden in under five minutes.
Saturday night, we just fixed finger foods and "grazed" the night away. Lawman tried out the sushi from the new Food City. It wasn't bad at all.

Lawman was rained in a whole day so he took the down time to whip up another batch of oatmeal raisin cookies and a fresh batch of wing sauce.

And having a little time left over, he made another batch of laundry detergent.

Hillbilly forecast news, we cut open one of our persimmons and we didn't find any pit. We guess maybe the middle could be a fork?

If so, mom nature says mild winter with powdery snow. We will see how this works out.

On the predator front this week, we still have the coyote hanging around. It's just a matter of time before he slips up and makes a mistake.

Plus, we got a pretty cool picture of a hawk who had squirrel for dinner one day.

Sunday after family breakfast, Cupcake got in the holiday spirit by wrapping presents while jamming to Christmas tunes. Lawman kept her company by baking our first batch of sugar cookies while she wrapped.

We ended the week with wings and the fresh wing sauce. And a nap.
