White Christmas

 We know everyone got snow this Christmas, so we took pictures to share with everyone who does not have windows in their houses.

The Dudley Twins were up early Christmas morning. When we let them out to do their bidness, they were very excited. It's lasted all weekend.

The ponds froze over, so they have been ice skating as well. We didn't take the camera with us, trust us, it's funny to watch.

Later Christmas morning, the DT's got in the spirit and even helped play Santa with handing out the presents.

We were thinking "How could we become even bigger coffee snobs?" and hit on the idea of roasting our own beans.

Lawman spent a little time down Central America way in his youth, and coffee from Honduras has always been a thing for him. Now we can order green coffee beans from there and roast them as dark as we want to.

Plus, it's only like $4 per pound. And we love a bargain

We had the usual feast with our fresh roasted coffee.

Scratch made cornbread and then cornbread stuffing

And a punch bowl full of punch, even though it was only "The Boy" drinking it.

A couple of new things this year.

The boy named this one "Dog shit brownies" but it's really called Peppermint Oreo brownies

And a baked Brie pastry with roasted pecans

Old standards, like sugar cookies and Oreo balls

And Cupcake's new all time favorite for the holidays, fried oysters. Just like "The Outlaw" used to make, only these are good to eat (the joke here being, for any outside the family types, he didn't know how to cook oysters)

We ended the week with wings. And several naps.
